Programma del corso 1) Introduzione: Regolazione dell'espressione genica, vie di segnalazione dei principali fattori di crescita, adesione e movimenti cellulari. 2) I settimana di sviluppo: Dalla segmentazione alla blastocisti. Trascritti materni. Attivazione dei geni embrionali. Ruolo di Oct4. Differenziamento del trofoblasto e della massa cellulare interna. Principali meccanismi molecolari. I gemelli. 3) Seconda settimana di sviluppo: Impianto dell'embrione, epiblasto, ipoblasto, citotrofoblasto, sinciziotrofoblasto, cavità amniotica e sacco vitellino. Reazione deciduale. Mesoderma extraembrionale e membrana di Heuser. Cavità corionica. Impianti ectopici. Mola idatiforme. 4) Gastrulazione: Ondate di migrazione: regolazione molecolare della EMT. Stria primitiva e nodo di Hensen. Notocorda. Endoderma viscerale anteriore. Morfogenesi e chiusura del tubo neurale. Spina bifida e anencefalia. 5) Ripiegamenti embrionali: Ripiegamenti cranio-caudali e laterali. Chiusura dell'embrione. Dotto vitellino e allantoide. Assi di simmetria.
